The engine is now in (as The Book says, it really is easier to do this BEFORE you plank!). Note the big Onan gen plant too, as well as the nice grated sole.
The Aft deck is being built up from a layer of “beaded” T&G covered by several layers of plywood. You can see framework for shelves and closets below.
Here’s the view inside the aft cabin. Laying the T&G down on the beams before the ply is installed looks great plus makes it much easier to install the plywood since you can let it run anywhere without worrying about making all butts on a deck beam. It also makes sense to varnish the deckbeams before installing the deck, and pre-painting the decking if the beams are varnished.
